With modern design of coal combustion chambers in pulverized coal power plants, the harshest working area for refractory lining is combustion belt, with the requirement of high heat resistance and thermochemical corrosion resistance from coal combustion, at the same time the good thermal conductivity is required to maximize the efficiency of steam generating from coal combustion heat. Effective materials for combustion belts are chemical bonded plastic mixes Novaplast-SiC75, Novaplast-SiC90 for application by ramming. In other areas of the boiler furnace and slag boat, depending on the level of abrasion and thermal shock caused by the slag cooling water, choose suitable types including Novacast-80LC, Novacast-50MC.

With the combustion of lower grade coal or biomass fuel, the fluidized bed combustion chamber has many strong mechanical abrasive agents, refractory materials are designed with high abrasion resistance, suitable quality for each area in the boiler, can be applied by casting or gunning. The combustion chamber area and cyclones air ducts can be applied with Novacast-80LC, Novacast-80AZ for casting and Novaplast-80, Novaplast-80P for plastic ramming. Other regions can use the multi-purpose Novacast-60MC for easy installation.

With the trend of environmental protection and sustainable development, the waste-burning plants to generate electricity WTE (Waste-to-Energy) have recently been set up widely in the world and so in Vietnam.
