Low cement refractory castable due to it’s dense structure requires  a long and steady drying and heating up schedule. While in most cases of kiln mainternance, the customer requires a quick installation works and fast heating-up time in order to have the shortest kiln downtime.

A pressed quick dying and heating-up of low cement castables linning in most cases leads to cracking and even explosion phenomena, causes spalling of refractory linning during heating-up process. In cases of serious damage, the kiln need to stop for repairing again.

Addressing the need of shortest kiln downtime, we developed  new bonding system of refractory castables that allow a quick dry-out of castables linning. Our newly developed products Novacast-SiC30N and Novacast-SiC30B had been succesfully applied in the most affected of quick dry-out areas of cement kilns such as Nosering Outet Burner Tip, Bullnose, etc.

Our quick dry-out product line is currently being expanded to precast shapes, hot air duct dampers, refractory castables for blast furnaces troughs, iron and steel ladles.
